Re: Cisco IR829 DHCP Question

Hello everyone, I have a Cisco IR829 that I'm trying to connect the shown network devices, but I've run into an issue. The Laptop, Switch (3560), and AP (1562e), all connect just fine and can receive DHCP from the Switch; however, when I try to connect wirelessly to the AP from the IR829 it doesn't get a DHCP Address. Any advice on how I could fix that? Let me know what other info, configs, etc you'd like to see if necessary, and thanks ahead of time.

In this case the configuration of the IR829 would be useful (remove passwords first).
If you connect a laptop wireless to the AP, will that work?

Laptop receives ip address through DHCP with no issues from Cisco1562e AP.

But IR829 AP can't receive ip address through DHCP for some reasons. We can see that Cisco ir829 AP associated and established with Cisco 1562e AP but cant receive ip address.

This is the log message that we get:

I'm not sure, but I think your IR829 isn't successfully connecting as a wireless client to the AP. I think you are missing some configurations on the Dot0.1 for the encryption of the wireless link.

You can also run "debug ... " commands on the IR, but I haven't used them in years and don't remember the exact commands anymore. But I think "debug ip dhcp ?" should show some information.
