Hi all,
I have to configure a Cisco wlc 2504-HA-k9 for high availability.
I configured everything:
I copied the configuration file from the primary wlc and configured it on the secondary.
I added the secondary wlc on every access point into the primary controller.
I added the secondary wlc on the Wireless - Global configuration - IP of the primary backup wlc
I issued the command config redundancy unit secondary on the second wlc, then if I issue "show redundancy summary" it says me its a secondary unit.
I guess I did everything but I have an important question about licenses:
The second wlc says I have 75 evaluation licenses and "NA" permanent licenses. Shouldnt it show me 75 permanent licenses?
If I digit "show license summary", I get this:
show license summary License Store: Primary License Storage StoreIndex: 0 Feature: base Version: 1.0 License Type: Permanent License State: Active, Not in Use License Count: Non-Counted License Priority: Medium License Store: Evaluation License Storage StoreIndex: 1 Feature: base-ap-count Version: 1.0 License Type: Evaluation License State: EULA Not Accepted Evaluation total period: 12 weeks 6 days Evaluation period left: 12 weeks 6 days License Count: 75 / 0 (Active/In-use) License Priority: None
Putting also the screen of the GUI scenario.
Also, if I try to modify licenses, it tells me I cant modify licenses on secondary HA-SKU controller, so it seems it's working correctly.
Can you give me some advices?
Thank you!
