Dear community,
I have just run into an issue when upgrading our SSO-HA WLC-Cluster (3504) from SW release 8.5.140.0 to 8.5.151.0.
The upgrade itself worked well and afterwards the HA reduandancy had been restored and Console access was possible.
But for an unknown reason it was no longer possible to log on to the WLC via SSH or to the WebGUI via https.
When checking the running-config (show run-config) I saw that the Secure Web Mode had been disabled
Secure Web Mode............................. Disable
But even reenabling Secure WebMode didn't help.
The workaround that did the trick was failing over to the standby WLC as active by rebooting the primary active wlc and even after failing back to the former active SSH and HTTPS access had been restored.
Just to share this with you - perhaps you have run into a similar issue while upgrading your WLC to 8.5.151.0.
