On 5508 failover pair running latest recommended code, I want to delete unused WLANs and Interfaces without disruptions. Assuming I should first delete a target WLAN, then the associated Interface, then the associated VLAN L3 interface on connected switch, then the L2 VLAN as the proper order of operations. This should be fine, correct?

Correct, as long as you keep the AP-Manager interfaces.
