Hi Palash,

AIR-LAP = Lightweight Mode. So you have to first convert to Autonomous/Standalone mode to get GUI access. Here are steps below :

Console into the AP :

1.Install an external TFTP tool such as tftpd32 tool from http://tftpd32.jounin.net/

2. Make sure you set the IP address for the AP if not set.

3. Download the IOS image onto the tftp's root directory. Use www.cisco.com-->support-->download software-->wireless software--> AP .-> Select IOS software.

4. Assign IP address in the range of the AP to the TFTP server.

5. Connect the ethernet port on AP to your TFTP Server ( Laptop )

6. On AP, type

debug capwap console cli

debug capwap cli no-reload

archive download-sw /overwrite /force-reload tftp://192.168.5.12/c1140-k9w7-tar.124-25d.JA.tar

Note: 1140 and 1040 image is the same.
