Hi,

I have a Cisco Access Point 1140 Series, and the users has problem when they try connect to the Wireless.

In the console I have these messages:

%DOT11-6-DISASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, Deauthenticating Station MAC Reason: Previous authentication no longer valid

%DOT11-6-ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, Station MAC Reassociated KEY_MGMT[WPA PSK]

%DOT11-6-DISASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, Deauthenticating Station MAC Reason: Previous authentication no longer valid

%DOT11-6-ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, Station MAC Reassociated KEY_MGMT[WPA PSK]

%DOT11-6-DISASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, Deauthenticating Station MAC Reason: Previous authentication no longer valid

%DOT11-6-ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, Station MAC Reassociated KEY_MGMT[WPA PSK]

How I can solve this problem?

Can you post your show run-config

Also just in case... Seems to be a real issue these days... If your using WPA v2, make sure you only have AES enabled. WPA v1 should only use TKIP.

Also try an open authentication.... See if the client is stable or not. If not, maybe update the driver.

First try to connect with open authentication and test it to check if there is any other issue and if that is working then try other option of WPA.

Hi friends,

The configuration of the APs was tested in a lab environment and this tests were successful.

The AP configuration has two SSID, with WPA v1 and TKIP.

I will try to find the solution by tommorow in the mean time do try to reset the AP to default and try to config agian hopefully it wil resolve the issue if it was working 100% in the test enviroment

kindly follow the following step

In reference to the out put error

Option 1  : Step the same password to both the SSID and check if you receive the same error

Option 2. : Do the same config on the single SSID and tst the connectivity .

Also do reset the AP to default before proceding .If nothing is working try to update the IOS to a stable release .(Final Option) as you will easly resolve it before.

Also can you share the GUI screen shot while configuring and if the problem is resolve to mention here.

(if you have used a differet approach do mention)

Important: Make sure you are not using any acl or MAC based authentication or denyed AP association.

in aIOS, by default client is removed if it reaches max retries.

pls first look into your RF enviornment, and interferer or high channel utilization.

then you can add packet retr x [drop] . add drop option to drop the packet and retain the association.

wel you are right but its not connecting even the single device (i think) and and this error is closely related to roaming ,power issue and somthing due to ios and hardware problem as nothing related to this sacnario it is being used as a stand alone device i belive .

             your thoughts...... !!!!!

Regards

Kash

Test with an open SSID. That will eliminate any issue with the AP.
