Disable WebAuth Successful login screen on 1.1.1.1

We're using an external redirect URL and external RADIUS for our webauth setup and it all works fine.

I need to disable the popup page you get from a successful authentication after posting to 1.1.1.1/login.html and RADIUS succeeds

See attached image.

Do you have any ideas?

We have a 2504 on v7.6

Thanks

James

Please refer to the link-

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless-mobility/wlan-security/115951-web-auth-wlc-guide-00.html

Hi

That guide does not have any information that answers my question. We are using an external captive portal page, so cannot customise the internal login/logout pages. We just want to disable the login success page completely

Thanks,

James

Oops.

The image you posted looks like the default Cisco Web Auth Successful page, which is internal.  When external web page authentication is successful it should redirect the user to the configured redirect URL or the page the client tried to get to.

Could you verify the address that your redirect URL is configured to and post your custom external server captive portal code?

If you haven't already there is this document on configuring external web auth as well:

Thank you,

Ensure that the Scripting option is blocked/unblocked on the client browser as the customized web page on the WLC is basically an HTML script. On IE 6.0, this is disabled by default for security purposes.

The Pop Up blocker needs to be enabled on the browser if you have to block any Pop Up messages for the user.

Near the end of the below document you will find the "Using the GUI to Assign Login, Login Failure, and Logout Pages per WLAN" section.  This may help you with your issue.

I hope this helps.

You can disable the logout popout with "config custom-web logout-popup disable"
