Download configuration (backup) file on Cisco Aironet 1700

Hi All,

I'm new to Cisco AP's and i can't find how to take a backup of the existing configuration.

I tried "software" > "System configuration"     but i don't see any download location only upload or reset options.

1. Can you help?

2. Can you refer me to a document on how to backup & restore Cisco Aironet 1700 series?

Have you tried to download the file config.txt shown on Current Startup Configuration File

I agree with John, you should be able to click that link or right click and save the output as a text file.  Maybe try a different browser also.  If you still have issues, then you need to telnet/ssh/console and then backup your config.  Here is a guide to do that: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/12-2_13_JA/configuration/guide/i12213sc/s13mfw.html#wp1034962
