Easy way to fall back to standalone from HA-SSO

While I am testing HA-SSO in the lab, I have not found an easy way to fall back to standalone.

I disabled the HA, but that shutdown all int on 2nd. Change the 2nd mgmt to a diff IP(original).

Do I have to setup from scrach?

disconnect the power supply from one controller or just remove the config of HA from

Controller > Redundancy > Global Configuration. and peer route from

Controller > Redundancy > Peer Network Route.

Hi,

no, since the configuration on the secondary is the same as the primary"when they were in HA SSO", and all you have to do is changing the IP addresses "that is why the interfaces go down when you disable the HA"

you can check the configuration when you get access to the GUI of the secondary

In my case, it did not work after I modified the IP. The interfaces are stayed down even after reboot.

"show redun sum" indicates that SSO is disabled though.

I did run config-recover and reset the 2nd back to standalone.

Thanks all!

Hi,

did you issue the following command on the secondary?

>config port adminmode all enable

its to enable the physical ports to go up.
