EoGRE tunnels from 5508 anchor Controllers

HI,

We have 11 campus sites with mobility peers setup to 4 DMZ controllers for BYOD type traffic off loading. So our BYOD SSID anchors to the 4 DMZ controllers.

Question, How does the EoGRE tunnel setup influence the existing setup? Do you simply create EoGRE tunnel(s) from the DMZ controllers northbound, or do you actually configure EoGRE tunnels from the Campus controllers, thereby not needing the anchor controllers in the DMZ anymore?

Take a look at the 8.5 EoGRE Tunnel Deployment Guide:

Effectively from the Campus WLC you configure an EoGRE tunnel to the tunnel gateway.

Else i believe you could use Mobility Tunnels between the Campus WLC and the DMZ WLC and then EoGRE Tunnel from the DMZ controllers dependent on your company security/ Tunnel Gateway requirements
