External APs for Wireless 9800/3800/5520s

Hello,

I am new to wireless, and looking for some recommendations.

1)  Outdoor AP for 9800s controllers

2) Outdoor AP similar to internal 2800/3800 for 5508/5520s controllers

3) Outdoor AP for the controller 5508/5520s

If you want to get this done right, then get a wireless site survey. 

We cannot provide a model without knowing what the installation site is like.

Hi Leo,

Sorry for the confusion.  The issue is that I don't see Cisco has released the outdoor AP for 9000 series access points.  We already have done the wireless survey, and 1 AP will be sufficient for the small backyard area.

Both 9120 & 1930 support external antenna model that you can use. Refer below document to find more details

But those are not OUTDOOR APs so you'd need to use an enclosure if you plan to mount them outdoors.
