Guest Access disconnect

Hello

on WLC 4400 Guest vlan is configured with local authentication, the users get disconnected after 10mins

were should i disable the option of 10mins restriction

Hello Paul,

check the session timeout in the advanced setting of the WLAN. It is by default 1800 seconds (30 minutes) but it is was possibly modified to 10 minutes. Check and let us know the feedback.

I see all default settings on within the WLAN

session time out 1800 sec

but still users get disconnected after 10 mins

does the client reconnect or try to reconnect after disconnect.

was the client idle when it got disconnect. if so increase the user idle timeout from controller tab. if that didn't work then get the debug client output to see what's going on.
