Hi,
We are mounting some AIR-ANT2588P3M-N= directional antennas and remoting them via 5ft AIR-CAB005LL-N and AIR-CAB010LL-N. The Cisco 1560 APs will operate in dual band, my question is do I use 3 x RF cables connected to 3 ports on the AP or 2 x cables to the lower 2 x port due to it being dual band mode?
I'm going along the 2 x cables but thought I had better confirm?
Thanks
Mick

Hello terminalvelocity77,
You can use the 2 ports on the bottom as they are dual band :-)

Yes, you can connect them to the bottom two ports of the 1560 models which can be configured as dual-band. Just ensure you connect the outermost antenna ports on the directional antenna, refer to: Figure 2-19 Antenna Ports For Connection to AP’s Dual Band Ports
