You can configure as many as you want but the AP will only broadcast the first 16 WLAN IDs, however, having 16 SSID is not idea or best practice. Have a read of this: SSID Overhead - How Many Wi-Fi SSIDs Are Too Many?

It is highly recommended to keep the number of SSIDs as low as possible, like four.
