Hi Mahesh,

Try using  ‘show dhcp summary’

For more information check the below link,

Hi Mahesh,

Yes, this mean you have not configured your WLC to act as a DHCP server with pre-defined pools.

If clients getting IP address they should get it from an external dhcp server.

If you check the interface configuration you should see a DHCP server IP address configured. In CLI if you type "show interface detailed " that also provide the configured DHCP server information

Here is an example of such CLI output

(4402-3) >show interface detailed vlan130

Interface Name................................... vlan130

MAC Address...................................... 00:0b:85:43:d8:67

IP Address....................................... 192.168.130.33

IP Netmask....................................... 255.255.255.0

IP Gateway....................................... 192.168.130.1

External NAT IP State............................ Disabled

External NAT IP Address.......................... 0.0.0.0

Secondary DHCP Server............................ Unconfigured

Hi Anas,

>show dhcp summary

No scopes defined

Does this mean that users are getting ip from the External dhcp device?
