How to identify WLC Last Reset Reason -8500

How to identify the last reset reason for the WLC. I believe the older version of the wlc is providing the last reset reason once we issue Show sysinfo command.

Hi @Nishad Dadhaniya ,

Yes, with show sysinfo you can get the last reset reason.

Use command grep include "Last Reset" "show sysinfo". Below is the sample output.

(Cisco Controller) >grep include "Last Reset" "show sysinfo"
Press any key to continue..
Last Reset....................................... Software reset

There are 1 lines matching the pattern Last Reset

Re: How to identify WLC Last Reset Reason -8500

HI ,

I believe it should show in the show sysinfo output as i have posted complete output i can't see anywhere for the last reset reason.

can you confirm your wlc os Version, I doubt the grep command will provide the last reset reason as its not showing in complete output.
