Check the following post for Password recovery.

https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/31571/cisco-aironet-access-points-ios-recovery

NotE:-  Mostly we use ROMMON for recovery of AP as mentioned. Default user/pass is "cisco".

Hello , do you have console access to AP , if you have physical access to AP then there is a reset button on the AP. Hold it for 30seconds, and you will be able to login with default : Cisco/Cisco,

MODE Button Setting : http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/12-3_7_JA/configuration/guide/i1237sc/s37trb.html

The lightweight access point MODE button is configured from your Cisco Wireless LAN Controller. Use these controller CLI commands to view and configure the MODE button:

1) config ap rst-button enable <access-point-name>/all
2) config ap rst-button disable <access-point-name>/all
3) show ap config general <access-point-name>
(Where access-point-name is the name that identifies the access point on the
ocntroller.)
