No probs Mr. Martin.

Yes i tried what Mr.Scott suggested but still the problem exists. Please see my previous post for the running config of two wlans.

No mac authentication also I cannot see authentication fail in the logs too.

thanks

Is this issue with all iPhone 5 and BB or is it with just one? The WLAN looks fine. You might need to post the

show run-config no ap

Attach this as a txt file and don't zip it because I won't be able to view it from my iPhone app.

Issue is with all i Phone 5 and Black Berry phones.

I would like to inform u again that only to one wlan ie "Alamar Guest WLAN"

Did you remove the profile from the devices and recreate it after you made the change?

Also, if you have multiple profiles setup on the device for both SSID's you need to enable Fast SSID Change. This allows you to switch from one SSID to another without waiting 30 seconds. There are also a few devices in the exclusion list.

Hi.

It is a very strange problem.

If the phone is not connected to WiFi but just mobile data (3G, UMTS), or to a SSID not belonging to the controller, and I try to connect to our guest SSID with web auth, the WiFi symbol does not show on the phone (just the 3G symbol) and the blank hotspot login screen shows up. It waits a few seconds and an error message appears saying "The hotspot login was interrupted because the server stoped responding".

If the phone is connected to a SSID belonging to the controller and I then try to connect to the guest SSID, the WiFi symbols shows on the phone, but no hotspot login screen appears. If I then open safari an try to surf to google, I get redirected to the login screen!! I can the login and it works fine.

This behavior is seen on iPhones with IOS 6.1.x. iPhones with IOS up to 6.0.x seems to be working without any problem.

Or could it be a iPhone 5 problem, the tested devices with IOS up to 6.0.x has been iPads and iPhone 3 & 4.

So I think that it is actually an Apple IOS problem and not problem with the controller (running 7.5.102.0)

This may be 7.5.x specific as well. Since we upgraded to this code Guest wireless having issues when using Google chrome.(Default browser in android)

Check this with a Google Nexus phone as well.

Rasika

Yes, could be so. We upgraded our controllers to 7.5.102.0 in july, but I havent heard any reports about this problem until last week. But maybe it has been problems since the upgrade.

I agree with Ras back down to the latest 7.4 and test ..

Is there any issues with downgrading from 7.5 to 7.4 ?

We are having three 5508 running 7.5.102.0 managed by Prime Infrastructure 1.3

Unless you enable "New Mobility" feature after your 7.5 upgrade, I do not think any issues with downgrading one of them to 7.4.x (I haven't done this downgrade yet).

In my environment I have 8x5508 with 7.4.x & DMZ controller used for Guest Anchoring is running with 7.5.102.0 .
