IOS versions for WLC 2504

I have a new primary 2504 that is running 8.1.102.0, and an HA 2504 running 7.6.101.1. Question is, can I download the IOS from the primary 2504 to the HA controller? Does it matter if it's an HA controller?

You cannot download image from one 2504 to anoher. You have to use FTP/TFTP for this

I realise that, but the question was more around whether there is any different in the IOS versions between a fully licensed 2504 and a HA licensed version, I am assuming not, and it's just a licence thing, but want to confirm this.
