The release notes specify that you must break your HA pair before upgading, but I am not aware of a recommended procedure to do that. I am also looking to find experiences from anybody who has upgraded and has any insights good or bad in relation to 7.5. I know it has only been out for a short time but please post any testing you have done with HA. If on the upgarde it is just that the secondary goes into maintenace mode then can this be overcome without breaking the HA setup upgrade? Given the fact that this was just one line hidden in release notes I am guessing somebody may have mistakenly just upgraded and I am curious what the results were.
