I noticed on Cisco live material (link below) it recommends -67 dBm RSSI is minimum for a WLAN. I know it was always -80 dBm for a data and -67 dBm for voice WLAN from various Cisco books and course materials but has this recommendation changed now? https://www.ciscolive.com/c/dam/r/ciscolive/emea/docs/2018/pdf/BRKEWN-2019.pdf
For the purposes of Cisco exams is it still -80 dBm?

Hi @CiscoJon
I don´t think the recommendation has changed, I believed the documents is talking about a good practice, because if your haves these values (-67dbm, 25SNR, 20% for overlap) you network will be ready to offer a good service, I mean, If is ready for voice, for sure will be ready for data.
books for exam still talking about (-67dbm, 25SNR, 20% for overlap) for voice services.

Hi
Right, when they talk about VOICE they always specify -67 dBm minimum RSSI but they used to recommend a lower minimum for data of -80 dBm for a data only WLAN. Is the minimum for all types (data, voice, high density and location) now -67 dBm RSSI?
