Hi,

here is doc about autonomous ap image:

https://rscciew.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/understand-access-point-ios-images/

k9w7 – autonomous (or “site survey”) IOS
k9w8 – full lightweight IOS (this is what is bundled in the WLC .aes image, and is factory installed on “mesh” APs)
rcvk9w8 – lightweight recovery image – this is factory installed on lightweight APs, unless a “mesh” image is specified; it lacks radio firmware

and you have :

flash:/ap1g1-k9w7-mx.153-3.JAB/ap1g1-k9w7-mx.153-3.JAB"

Means its an autonomous Image.

Thank you a lot Mr . Leo and Mr. Sandeep for your help.

If it is an automous AP, can I join it to the vwlc or I have to convert it to lightweight mode?

Regards

You need to convert it to Lightweight to join a WLC.
