Hello Experts,

What is the heat dissipation and Power requirement in Amperes for MSE 3365?

Could not find this info from Datasheet or installation guide?

Nope. Heat dissipation parameter is not reflected even in the installation guides.

I am basically looking for the below parameters highlighted in red for WLC and MSE wherein the voltage source is 240V. Not sure if there exists easily comprehensible formula to obtain the same.

Ampere is easy, that's Watt divided by Voltage, so it uses at a maximum:

770/230=3.35 A

I think BTU/hr (at least maximum) can also be calculated and should be fairly linear. So at ~40% more than the 8540 it's probably around 2600 BTU/hr (heavily rounded).

Thanks Patoberli,

The Ampere explanation helped.

However, for Heat dissipation, I believe the calculation has more dependency on the heat emitting surface of the equipment.

Could be, but I don't think it's much different. The 3365 is (probably) 1 HE in size and uses the whole energy inside it's case. Anyway, here is Intels take on BTU/hr calculation:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006784/server-products.html
So it's max power consumed (770 W) multiplied by 3.41214 which equals ~ = 2627 BTU/hr. Yay, I wasn't far away from that number :)
