network mesh MAP

Hello

 

my work that i have 4 acces point 1815 and we would to work in mesh mode 

 

so my question .

 

if they not support mode mesh so it client wirless can  connect with them withou problem ??

 

how does the traffic work between acces point  MAP ???

 

how long distance betwenn AP MAP ??

Hi,

1. As i said earlier, 1800 series AP dont support mesh mode means it will not work as MAP.

2. In a Cisco wireless backhaul network, traffic can be bridged between MAPs and RAPs. This traffic can be from wired devices that are being bridged by the wireless mesh or CAPWAP traffic from the mesh access points. This traffic is always AES encrypted when it crosses a wireless mesh link such as a wireless backhaul.

MAP is configured as bridge mode.

Client will decide the best coverage AP to connect.

As per my knowledge 1800 series dont support mode. May be in future it will but not at the moment.

i have three acces point MAP newtork wirless with them and not bridge with them !!

 

So   witch acces point MAP that client wirless connected with !!  last MAP or first MAP !!

 

and witch mode acces point MAP !!??

Toplogy : Point-to-Point Wireless MAP : betwwenn AP MAP is wireless conection and  not  Point-to-Point Wireless MAP  bridge

so  that is we make toplogy mesh acces point

 

we are more  person connected in mountain place 

 

So  , if we have ap  model 1500 in moutain  place SO  , client can connectet with   connection wirless through  model AP  1500  !!?,
