Hi there,

Did you use;

Step 6

guest-mode

(Optional) Designate the SSID as your access point guest-mode SSID. The  access point includes the SSID in its beacon and allows associations  from client devices that do not specify an SSID.

From;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/12.4_10b_JA/configuration/guide/scg12410b-chap7-mbssid.html#wp1017196

Cheers!

Rob

EDIT: hey George ...long time my friend Hope all is well with you! +5

Rob,

Hello! Im well .. Keeping my head above water. And you ?

I dont think its guest-mode, thats for autonomous aps, the question referenced controller. But who knows its a pretty open question with little detail.

i don't use guest mode

Have you got 'Broadcast SSID' ticked on the WLAN settings? Go to WLAN tab, then click on your SSID and ensure the setting is ticked.

yes broadcast is enabled

Another common problem if everything else is good is a security mis config. What security are you using. And what supplicant are you testing with ..

thanks

thanks too all found with the level 2 eng the problem

i used ssid 41 instead of 1-16

     ---> i mean its clear that only 16 ssid are allowed but you can select id 1-5xx !!!!!!!!!!

If you use an id above 16 you have to put that WLAN in an AP group and put the AP in the group as well.
