Power Injector for 1830

Hi,

I am putting together a BOM for a customer.

They require 1830 APs with Power Injectors.

I failed to find any power injectors on cisco.com

Doesn't Cisco manufacture any ? If no, is there a recommended brand ?

Thanks in advance !

AIR-PWRINJ4 will support 1830.  Power draw is for the 1830 is 16.0w and AIR-PWRINJ4 can support up to 20.0w.

Cisco doesn't manufacture the injectors.  The manufacturer of the Cisco-branded power injectors is Phihong USA.

Powering options

  802.3af/802.3at
  Enhanced PoE
  Cisco local power supply, AIR-PWR-C=
Cisco power injector, AIR-PWRINJ5= (Note: This injector supports 802.3af only)

Note: If 802.3af PoE is the source of power, the USB port is disabled.

"Note: This injector supports 802.3af only"

We want to use all features of 1830, hence 802.3at

Thanks for the info.

Here it says 15W, not 20W. Will you please share, where did you look for the specs of AIR-PWRINJ4 ?

Thanks

AIR-PWRINJ4 is capable of completely powering up the 1250, 2700 & 3700 and these models require higher than 15.4w PoE.
