Priming Universal APs

Hi Everyone,

I have a mix of universal APs and AIR-CAP3702I-E-K9 in my wireless environment. I have successfully primed some APs manually and via NDP in my environment, but I have these set of APs that have remained unprimed.

I have checked their properties, and they carry the correct country code NG but their Universal status is Unprimed. I checked logs on the AP and this is what I saw;

%DOT11-5-EXPECTED_RADIO_RESET: Restarting Radio interface Dot11Radio1 due to the reason code 27

which translates to RADIO_FC_NDP_STUCK

I need help to resolve this issue. I do not know if this will affect users trying to connect the access points.

I have tried the methods as stipulated in the link you sent, but it does not seem to work for me. See the output of the AP after connecting it to the network with a primed AP present on the same local network;Priming Issues.PNG

I would suggest to reset AP completely and try to prime again.

I carried out all the steps prescribed.

I used the Cisco Air Provision app to prime the AP and it showed that AP was successfully configured.

Even with that, the AP is still shown as unprimed under Advanced and it carries the NG country code.

It works fine, I guess I should work with it that way.
