Solved: Radio problem on an AP1142N

Hello,

I 've got a problem on an AP1142N. It joins correctly its controller (5508 WLC) but one of his radio (Dot11Radio1) won't go up :

#show cdp interface

Dot11Radio1 is reset, line protocol is down

Encapsulation ARPA

Sending CDP packets every 60 seconds

Holdtime is 180 seconds

Here's what I have in my log file :

RMA the WAP. The radio module is faulty.

Do you see anything in the log that mentions crash or traceback?

You may need to look at the previous log messages by typing this:

more flash:events.log

Can you also post the output for:

show ver

what happens if tried to toggle ap and radio admin status from gui.

console into ap, bounce the ap, check the boot process for d1 radio initialization.
