Ramifications of disabling probe filter on the WLC
I have deployment comprising of WLC (5520), Prime 3.4, CMX 10.5 & 4800 series APs. Have a deployment requirement that the end user would want to see all the "probing clients" in their network. Primarily to identify their location.
For this we would want to disable the probe filtering. Have couple of concern through.
1. What are the downsides of disabling the probe filtering?
2. Won't we be able to disable probe filtering just on the AP group? Could not find any such configuration option through, but still wanted to see if we have any such option to have it disabled only for selective section of APs.
