Hi All,
I'll be using WiSM2 for wireless deployment, just want to check if anyone know how the license works?
for example if I purchased a license that supports 100 AP, does this means that in WiSM2 controller 1 will support 100 APs and controller 2 also support 100 APs ?
Thanks.

The WiSM2 only has one controller built in. It's not like the WiSM1.

You can't apply licenses to a WiSM1.
If you buy a WiSM2-100, then you will have one WLC with 100 licenses on it. You can buy adder licenses in 100 or 200 AP increments, up to a limit of 1000 APs per WiSM2.

Thanks for your quick reply Scott, I didn't realize that WiSM2 only have 1 controller.
so if the above license is applied to WiSM1 then my assumption is correct?
