regards
I have a question.
I have 2 controllers that work properly
The first has 50 licenses WLC CISCO 5508
The second has 110 licenses. WLC CISCO 5508
I would not use the first controller ¿I can move 50 licenses from the first controller to the second and be in total with 160?
Thanks,,

The following link provides information on how to transfer “Adder” licenses from one WLC to another: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/7.0/configuration/guide/c70ccfg.html#wp1880270.

If you purchase the control as a 50 then no. If you purchased as say a 25 and added 25 more licenses then you could ask Cisco to rehost. But they may say box
if one controller is backup and has a minimum of a 50 lic you can put it into ha mode and this will make the controller go to 500 licens. But this is for back up only ..

Thank You,
But we have a WLC H. A.
We spare a controller 5508 and wanted to know if we could dispose of its 50 licenses to add to our active controllers

One license can be registered only to one device. Contact the licensing team licensing@cisco.com to rehost the license
