Release 8.1 and later are not supported on these access points 1140

Hello.

Could you help me with this doubt?

Note The Cisco 1040 Series, 1140 Series, and 1260 Series access points have feature parity with Cisco Wireless Release 8.0. Features introduced in Cisco Wireless Release 8.1 and later are not supported on these access points.

I need to know what are this features that are not supported in this version 8.1.

They are not very clear on their docs:)  If you look at the New Features section:

You basically have to dig up any features that are specific to AP's.  Basically you can also review the features introduced in that version to completely try to understand what isn't in v8.1.  Controller feature of course is still there unless specified, but that piece is better documented.
