Hi all,
I'm using WLC and WCS to manage lightweight access points.
Is it possible to retrieve/export from WLCs or WCS the full configuration of all APs in a simple way?
Thanks

Why do you want to do that? The WAP doesn't have a permanent config. All config is stored and managed by the WLC.

Becouse my client i asking to provide the APs' documentation.
I'm thinking to provide the full WLC configuration (show run-conf).
There is a way to make " copy running-config tftp" in WLC ?
Or you suggest a better way?
Thanks

Sure. In the GUI you can backup your config. Is this what you want to do?
Go to Commands > Upload Files.
In the File Type, choose Configuration from the drop-down menu.

Anyway i hae tried but this will provide only the WLC configuration.

The WLC configurations will include configs for the WAPs.

I have open the configuration of WLC obtained as follow:
1) WLC: Commands > Upload Files
2) WCS: Administration > Background Tasks > Controller Configuration Backup
And in both files there is no AP configuration...

The configurations come from the WLC not the AP. They might still have the mindset of autonomous access point. The bottom line is that the APs don't have a configuration... The WLC provides the configuration to an access point when it's joined. If you want to provide them with something, issue the following command from the WLC CLI:
show ap config general
