Seeing device login history for WLC, either locally or through Prime

Hello All,

Can we from WLC see history of the device login attempts (successful & unsuccessful)?

If not from the WLC directly, could we see it through Prime?

"show loginsession" provides the info for current login, I am looking for historical data as well.

(WLC) >show loginsession

ID  User Name  Login Type Connection From Idle Time Session Time

Yes, You can see the same on trap logs. But due to the line limitation on the Traps to show on WLC. Post certain messages old one will not be available on the WLC. Its better to configure a external syslog server to forward those logs.

But why you want to see on WLC,  TACACS is not configured on WLC?

CLI Command: show traplogs

On Prime You can go to Alarms --> Security --> Minor to see the failure results of management user login.

As far as I know successful logs you can't see on Prime.
