Seeking configuration advise/template for site survey of C2800 AP

In the process of helping Site survey specialist to configure his C2800i AP for site survey I cam across the Cisco Documentation that mentions to configure a mini WLC post installation of "ME" image (thanks! Rasika V.) and then configure the AP, since the AP is the first in for the Site Survey it necessitates the min WLC configuration. Is there a way to only configure the AP 2800i as just an AP for Site Survey? If yes and you feel sharing your configuration (sh running-config) or template. I appreciate your reply in advance and thank you for your efforts. Wishing you all Happy Holidays! and as always thanks to all your replies to keep me motivated in Wireless field.
