Show AP LAN interface speed

Hello All

I currently discovered that two of my APs are running with 100 Mbit/s instead of 1 Gbit/s. This clearly can give a few issues with 802.11n speeds. The affected APs are 3502. They are managed through two WiSMs (7.0.250.0). Those are managed through PI 2.1.

Is there some possibility to see the interface speed of all APs in one place, or do I really have to select every single AP and check the interface speed?

Thanks

Patrick

GUI is the worse for gathering large amount of data.... try this command from the CLI of the WLC:

show ap stats ethernet summary

You can view the speeds of your APs from the switch.

That's true, but would also mean to login to nearly 100 switches and check the interface. They are not in PI.

I think your out of luck if you are trying to get this data from the WLC.  You would have to look at each switch.

To bad :(

The data is in WLC (Monitor -> Accesspoint -> click one -> Interfaces -> click Gigabitethernet0), but would have hoped to see it with less clicks.

I think that would not be just useful for us, what do you think?

Great! That was exactly what I was searching for :)

Then you can use the show ap cdp neighbor all to find out what switch and port it is connected to.
