Hi All,
Some devices such as nokia lumia 820 - windows 8 phone, ipad 2 and Bang and Olufson speaker are failing to connect to my Cisco Aironet 1262 AP. My laptop, desktops and other phones are able to connect. Please assist.

Few of the phone models have compatiblity issues with the encryption protocols like WPa2 , wep, TKIP. which encrytion you are using? try changing it to WPA. Hope your devices connect

Start by creating an SSID with OPEN authentication.
Does the client authenticate?
If yes, then start adding encryption and security until you break them.

I would suggest you try without encryption to test....if that works make sure when you add encryption to use WPA2 and AES (and not TKIP).....

I have tried removing security, and then tried playing around with available options to no avail.
My windows phone still does not see the SSID.

Your ap is autonomous, in global config "dot11 ssid PME1" the ssid PME1 must be yyyy .
