Hi,
I have configured HA redundancy on 2 units WLC 8500 series with SSO. After running for more than 6 months, the WLCs have been switchover several time and the switchover reason was "Active Controller Failed". Does anyone know what it means and how to see the details of the switchover reason? I want to know why the Controller failed and what cause that.
Thank you
Regards,
Arie

CLI into the controllers and post the output to the command "sh coredump".

Trap? Yes, using SNMP.
Not sure about email but it should be possible with PI or other 3rd party software which, coincidentally, uses SNMP traps.
