Switchport Config for Flexconnect/HREAP AP (vlan dot1q native tag)

As the heading implies I would like to know how to configure a switchport for Flexconnect AP when vlan dot1q tag native is enabled?

switchport mode trunk

switchport trunk encapsulate dot1q (may not be required dependant on switch)

switchport trunk allowed vlan <VLAN IDs required>

switchport trunk native vlan <VLANID>

spanning-tree portfast trunk

Hi Sorry for the delayed response, just like to highlight that when the dot1q tag native is applied in the switch, it tags the native vlan traffic in the trunks.

AP’s don’t like management being tagged. So that will be a problem for you.
