Unable to disable Fastlane on SSID

Hi all,

Running 8.8.111.0 on an 1850 Series, with 6 SSIDs configured, I'm not able to disable the FASTLANE option by Web-GUI.
In the GUI I can select disable for the FASTLANE option and apply the settings. But entering the WLAN-setting again, the option is enabled again.

Can somebody give me the CLI command to disable FASTLANE on an SSID?

At the CLI, show WLAN 5, shows me

QoS Fastlane Status.............................. Enabled

Thanks

Willem

ok, I found this command and this is the result, (Failed)

(Cisco Controller) >config qos fastlane disable 5

Warning! This command will automatically disable the WLAN and
will reset the WLAN QoS configurations to defaults (Silver profile, AVC disabled).
The WLAN will be re-enabled once the configuration completes.
Are you sure that you want to continue? (y/N)y

Do NOT use 8.8.111.0.
Upgrade to 8.8.120.0 first and try again.

Hi Leo,

Is 8.8.120.0 better?
I'll try to install and give feedback here.

I updated to 8.8.120.0 but the result is the same, not possible to disable FASTLANE.

Not in Web-GUI (you can change, apply but it does not disable it)

Not in CLI:

(Cisco Controller) >config qos fastlane disable 5

Warning! This command will automatically disable the WLAN and
will reset the WLAN QoS configurations to defaults (Silver profile, AVC disabled).
The WLAN will be re-enabled once the configuration completes.

This Profile (AUTOQOS-AVC-PROFILE)does not seem to exist.

Any Idea left?

Was 8.8.111.0 the first firmware running on this AP or did you upgrade from some 8.3 software first?
If you did upgrade, try a factory reset with the mode button. Alternatively create a QoS profile with the exact shown name and then try to disable it.
Lastly you could open a TAC.

Hi Patoberli

I have different Environment, some may be upgraded from older, others may have been reset and started with an 8.8. release.

I could not try your solution yet, the AP is 2000KM from here, don't want to make it unavailable for me.

I'll see if I can copy the config to an test AP at my desk. This solution will definitively not have the same update history.

What I could do on my private AP, is I created an new profile with a different Name but the same SSID but without fastlane activated.

This worked fine, I deleted the first profile and renamed the new to the old name.

Sounds like a plan. Please keep us updated if it works.
