Upgrade WLC with FLEXCONNECT

Hello!!

I got some doubts about the WLC upgrade.

With some differents versions of WLC ( 7.6, 8.0 , 8.1 ) when i finished updating the WLC, something wrong happen with the FLEXCONNECT APS :

• The access points in FLEXCONNECT MODE does not return to the WLC. We need to turn off the switchport connected to the AP.
• The LOCAL VLAN in the FLEXCONNECT AP was modified and we need to type all the vlans again. It can happen in just One AP or all of them.

1. Is this normal in a WLC Upgrade where exists FLEXCONNECT configuration???
2. Exist some kind of procedure to avoid this problems????

I have heard different reports of FlexConnect APs being unstable like this. I am upgrading a WLC hosting 4000 APs soon so will let you know how that goes.. I have contacted Cisco TAC who have told me:

'The upgrade of 8510 Paired in HA doesn’t have any reported issue or related caveats."

I guess I'll find out!
