Use LAP as a bridge to connect another LAP

Hi,

Is it possible to use LAP as a bridge to connect another LAP into the network?

WLC:5508 ver.7.0.235.0

LAPs: AIR-CAP3502E-E-K9 or AIR-CAP3502I-E-K9

Use LAP as a bridge to connect another LAP

Only if you are using the mesh feature which means there has to be a RAP and a MAP.  Point to point bridging isn't supported in lightweight.

Thanks Scott,

Just to add the link is not really updated but I was able to get a newer version which said 3500 series is also supported from version 7.0.116

Many of their docs have not been updated, but generally as configured the same.  I think many of the old ones explain things better and I tend to have saved and reference.  Glad it helped though.

Thanks,

Scott
