WCS and Autonomous AP Cisco 1242

Hello,

I Would like connect few Aps Cisco 1242 on WCS with snmpv3 in the same security WLCs. I have a probleme to add manually AP1242 on this WCS

For AP Cisco 1242 snmp v3 don't existe by browser web then ,I added follow line in CLI command :

Cisco1242(config)#:snmp-server user snmpuser remote v3 encrypted auth sha **************** priv des56 ********************

***** = password

For WCS, I used Add Autonomous Acces Points:

Please, what do think ?  I suppose it is something which miss.

You have telnet enabled on the ap?  That is all I can think that might be the issue.

I checked, the telnet is enabled on AP.

I dont't have problem to connect AP in SNMPV2 but I would like to connect this AP in SNMP V3 for security.

Well if you have v3 setup on the AP and that is working correctly, I don't know why it's not working then on WCS. I have not tried v3.

I found my problem:   missing engine ID to validate the connection.

It work now.....
