Web Auth redirection to custom Page not working on some clients

Hello,

we have two 5508 wlc in active/standby with 170 access points running 8.0.152.0

For guest wifi we are using web authentication redirected to a custom web page local on the wlc. This is working but on some laptops when the wifi connection is connected and edge ir IE is trying to redirect to wlcs custom webpage, the original cisco wlc web auth webpage is shown.

On some clients the custom webpage is loaded but when the user is pressing ENTER, the cisco original web auth page is loaded too.

How can I solve this ?

Did you upload the custom web-portal to both WLC? You have to manually do that on both.
This doesn't explain why you sometimes receive the page from one or another WLC though, you should receive it from the WLC where the AP is attached to.

Have you enabled Override Global Config?
You can confirm this with show custom-web all.
