What does NAC State do?

Hi,

I am trying to figure out what the NAC State option under Advanced tab in a WLAN does if I sett it to ISE.

What extra information is sent to the ISE?

I have a usecase to do both dot1x and MAB on the same SSID. To be able to do that I have to set NAC state to None, at the moment it is set to ISE NAC. I do have a ISE-server for authentication.

What I want to know is what I loose if I change it from ISE NAC to None.

Regards

Philip

Hi Philip,

WLC will not support both MAB and 802.1x on a same SSID.

As far as I know, dot1x with username/password or certificate and also MAB on the same SSID is not possible.

No idea what that option does though.
