why is WCS so slow to refresh data from the controllers?

Is there some variable I can tweak to speed up WCS refreshing controller data?

The controller data is real time and awesome, WCS is like on a 5 minute lag and its getting pretty annoying. only have 1 Wism and 171 radios on it so its not like capacity is an issue.

You can playaround with the WCS. Go to Administration > Background Tasks and change the Interval values on specific Data Collection Tasks or Other Background Tasks.
