Will AIR-ANT2460NP-R= work with AIR-LAP1262N-E-K9

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to confirm if the above AP and antenna are compatible.

I was trying to configure them on the Cisco configurator, but I couldnt find it as an option for the 1262AP.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Yes it will work on the 1260's 802.11b/g antenna port.

What are your plans with the 802.11 a/n?

You would be looking at the AIR-ANT5160NP for the 5.0 Ghz radios.

I am using the AIR-ANT5160NP-R= antenna. The problem is some old devices on site doesnt support "a" radio.

Ummmm ... When you plan to use those antennas, you're not trying to EXTEND the range, are you?

No Leo, Im not trying to extend the range here. Just coverage.

Range and Coverage is the same to us. If you want to extend coverage, you try not to use higher gain antennas but add additional access points.
