Wireless Bridge

Hello Experts!!

I am having CISCO 1242AG nos.2, I want to configure 5GHZ as bridge mode taking traffic multiple vlans. & 2.4GHZ configured multiple SSID to be utilized by the clients over wireless & fast Ethernet to be configured to switch.

I have tried couple of links & configuration too but not working.

Any configuration sample for the same will be appreciated.

You can refer this post for a wireless bridge configuration(use radio 1 instead of radio 0 since you want 5GHz for bridge config)

Then try to configure radio 0 as Root AP for wireless users.

Hello Rasika,

Thanks for the response, the commands were same I have applied however, I have to manually enter into the AP through GUI and mapped the ssid to the VLAN. than the radio get up !!

The only difference is you only need 1 ssid for the point to point link to come up.
