WLC 2500 Series Add Licenses Problem

Dear Expert,

kindly a have a wlc with 15 licenses installed on the controller, and i purchased 6 New licenses to install it
L-LIC-CT2504-1A      QTY: 6

i following this steps for installing my new license :

1- i go on WLC panel

2- management => software activation => commands

3- i select "install license"

4- i setting a correct path

and i Did reboot the WLC, and it give me the Installation Process Completed

and i saw the new licenses number on the WLC GUI interface Max Count without any problem.

but after Approximately 1 year, i came to add the AP, i didn't find the 6 new licenses.

Does the licenses has expired date ?!?!

is there any solutions for the problem ?

Did you generate lic file and install it into wlc 2504?

As i know, these licenses are permanent. maybe, you need to open support case in TAC.

yes i did generate lic file, and install it

After installation the number of ap was 21 (15 + 6)? Added ap shouldnt be lost...

Maybe its just a bug of wlc. Try to open support case.

You can always add the license again to the wlc. The license files will not get removed unless it’s manually removed.

i tried and re-add the licenses again to the wlc, and it works, the max count increased, the wlc take the the licenses again, maybe some one of the IT Team accidentally manually removed it.
i will monitor the WLC to be sure its not a bug issue.
