Hello,

Would you guys know how I could get/enable a controller to generate a log when the buffer is full and overwrites older logs?

 - Why do you think that actually happens ?

Because it does. The controller does not keep creating logs indefinitely to the same file. That's a fact

The logs on the WLC are FIFO to the size of the configured buffer.

logging buffered 100000 notification

Not sure why you want to know when it is getting over ridden, as this will happen automatically when the logs hit the number set. As far as i know there is no ability to have this notified when it happens.

If your concerned about losing data, then sent the logs to a remote syslog server.
